Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jan-Niklas Voigt-Antons is a professor of Human-Centered Computing and head of the Immersive Reality Lab. His research focuses on how people perceive, experience, and interact with digital systems across Extended Reality (XR), Quality of Experience (QoE), and user-centered design. He combines behavioral, physiological, and computational methods to measure and model human experience in immersive environments. His work spans immersive analytics, spatial interaction, digital health, and real-world XR applications in industry and society. He has led and contributed to numerous interdisciplinary research and transfer projects, collaborating with academia, industry, and public institutions to design, evaluate, and deploy meaningful immersive technologies.
