Human-Centered AI and the Future of Learning and Work
Artificial intelligence is rapidly entering educational environments, yet its integration often focuses on tools rather than human development. This session examines how AI can support learner agency, responsibility, and problem-solving within peer-driven educational models. Drawing on leadership experience in software engineering schools, it explores how learners engage with AI as a collaborator rather than a replacement for human thinking. The session addresses the central question: how can institutions integrate AI while strengthening autonomy, critical thinking, and motivation? Participants will gain practical insights into learning design, governance considerations, and institutional strategies that preserve human judgment while preparing learners for evolving workforce realities.
