About me
Prof. Dr. Hans-Peter Beise has been a professor (W2) in the Department of Computer Science at Trier University of Applied Sciences since September 2018. He studied Applied Mathematics at the University of Trier and graduated in May 2008. He completed his doctorate in mathematics at the same university in November 2010 under the supervision of Prof. Jürgen Müller.
After a short period as a research assistant at the University of Trier, he worked as a software developer at FERNBACH Financial Software in Luxembourg from 2011 to 2014. He then worked as a Research Scientist at IEE S.A. in the Department of Fundamentals and Mathematical Modeling until 2018.
His current research interests include dynamic systems and neural networks. Prof. Beise is co-author of several scientific publications, including papers on the theory of deep neural networks and synthetic benchmark datasets for machine vision in car interiors.
