About me
Steffen Hagemann is a political scientist at the University of Kaiserslautern. Between 2018 and 2022 he was director of the Heinrich Böll Foundation in Tel Aviv. He received his Diploma and his PhD from the Free University Berlin, where he specialized in Peace and Conflict Studies and International Relations. He has spent time at the University Tel Aviv and as a visiting fellow at the Bucerius Institute for Research of Contemporary German History and Society. The Middle East, and especially Israel, have been the focus of his work over many years.
