About me
After completing a bachelor’s degree in Literature and Art at Newcastle University, UK, Sophie Foster worked as an artist and educator in lifelong learning. In 2019, she completed an MFA in Public Art and New Artistic Strategies at Bauhaus Universität, Weimar. Here, her work moved into the design of creative learning experiences for collaboration, exchange and experimentation. She has also lectured at universities in the UK and Germany, designing and implementing courses for academic skills. She currently works on the project Lernraum.Bauhaus as a Media Didactics Assistant, part of Institutional Development at Bauhaus Universität, Weimar. Here, she supports the prototyping of virtual learning spaces focussing on the examinination of objects in physical and digital settings.
