Call for Arts & Experience – The Call for Ideas to Touch and Experience

How does the future sound? How does it feel? What colours, shapes, and movements emerge when we question established practices in education?

At the University:Future Festival – Under Pressure, we don’t just want to talk about the future in 2026 — we want to make it tangible. To do so, we are opening the Experience:Space in Berlin and at other festival locations: a place full of surprises, where visions unfold beyond traditional stage and workshop formats.

What we are looking for

We are looking for innovative, surprising, and creative contributions that invite visitors to touch, try, and experience, that make them laugh and wonder, and that make the digital transformation of higher education come alive. Whether it’s robots, dancing paintings, HoloLenses, creative brainstorming sessions, or talking carpets – we can’t wait to see how you make the future tangible!

Who we are looking for

We’re looking for everyone who wants to offer inspiration you can touch: from robotics engineers to VR world builders, from visual artists to activists, from researchers to students with a wild idea.

Implementation

All selected contributions will be realised on site in the Experience:Space. We provide the space, power, and internet – you bring the idea. Anything is possible, as long as it fits the festival and this year’s motto, and is technically and logistically feasible. If you have any questions, we’re happy to help at any time.

Call procedure

The Call for Arts & Experience of the University:Future Festival 2026 runs until 16.02.2026.

After the deadline, the organising team will review all submissions for feasibility. By middle of March, you will find out whether your contribution has been selected.
