About me

With a background in history and cultural policy Kathleen Clancy is currently working for the German Academic Exchange Service as part of the research project Digital Credentials for Higher Education Institutions. Previously she developed a digital archive for the renowned Artists-in-Berlin Program and worked with high-ranking international delegations from the education sector within Berlin’s political landscape. After studies at King’s College London and University College Dublin, she held roles at the Berlin Senatsverwaltung für Kultur & Europa and the dapd news agency. Having spent countless hours handling archival materials, she understands both the value of paper and its digital counterparts and is excited to host the workshop self-sovereign identities and verifiable credentials.
