Spontaneous participation

Important technical advice!

  1. It is best to use a desktop computer or laptop. The use of tablets and smartphones is possible, but not optimal for display and performance.
  2. Use an up-to-date browser. The latest version of Google Chrome is ideal. Check your browser settings using our provider’s browser check tool. Make sure that you open the tool via the browser that you are actually using for your festival visit.
  3. Try to ensure a stable internet connection. At least 8 Mbps should be available for download and 2.5 Mbps for upload.
  4. Disconnect any existing VPN connection to improve your transmission.
  5. Do not use any other video conferencing tools (or applications that use the camera) in parallel.
  6. Refresh your browser window (F5 or Ctrl + r). You will then be back in the lobby; return to your session if necessary.
  7. If you have performance problems, close all programmes that you do not currently need and all tabs in your browser.
