About me
Valerie Varney is a Professor of Innovation and Society at the Faculty of Process Engineering, Energy and Mechanical Systems at TH Köln University.
She is the head of Cologne TrainING Center, Innovation and Transfer Lab and co-head of Cologne Cobots Lab.
Her focus is on research processes at the crossroads between humans, organisations and technology, particularly in the areas of digital, circular and societal transformation. She has a long history in the field of engineering education research, particularly regarding challenge based learning environments, digital learning environments such as remote laboratories and AR/VR settings and future-oriented curricula.
