Let’s Found a Branch Campus in Asia! Navigating Speed, Strategy, Culture, Processes, and Structure
Nothing is more exciting and challenging than starting a new organizational structure on another continent from scratch: without a blueprint, without knowing the legal and policy environment, and without pre-established structures or processes. Everything needs to happen fast, you learn on the go, and personnel resources are limited. At the same time, this new entity must be integrated into an established university (KLU Hamburg) with its own structures, roles, processes, and organizational identity. The core question is how to build, operate, and connect such a structure in a global environment. Participants will gain insights into navigating uncertainty, building teams and partnerships across cultures and time zones, and aligning a startup-like environment with an established institutional framework.
