Viktoria's research sits at the intersection of technology-enhanced learning and learning sciences, human-computer interaction, and information systems research. Her research is on designing technologies for knowledge construction and learning. Her perspective is that technologies don't work on their own. Rather, the whole socio-technical system in which they are placed needs to work in harmony for knowledge construction and learning to happen. Hence, the understanding is that of developing socio-technical interventions. Viktoria has published more than 100 peer-reviewed publications. She is regularly invited as a public speaker. Viktoria is currently member of the EATEL managing committee (www.ea-tel.eu) and president of the IAALDE (www.alliancelss.com).
