About me
Monika Pröbster is research assistant at Heilbronn University, Germany. She studied psychology at Heidelberg University and now works with Nicola Marsden, taking a dedicated interest in the sociopsychological aspects of technology, often with a focus on gender and diversity. She’s worked on projects fostering equal opportunities for women and men in STEM, human-entered design, the perception of virtual reality and its users, empathy in HCI, sustainable transport systems and presented her research at various national and international conferences, including CHI ‘19.
