How to participate in the University:Future Festival!FAQ
The University:Future Festival focuses on higher education in and after the pandemic – the “New Normal”. We take a look back at the digital summer semester 2020 – and above all a look forward to the future of higher education.
We want to initiate a unique exchange on the future of higher education. Therefore, we are looking for contributions that contain surprising insights, that convey practical experience a, that are eye-opening, exciting and entertaining. We are looking for people who are passionate about their projects and visions.
You have the opportunity to participate in the University:Future Festival in various formats. Currently, until 16 August 2020, the Showcase:Call below is open for a stand on our virtual marketplace and our Creative:Call for creative project submissions.

In order to better classify the wide range of offers in the program and to be able to subdivide the main topic, we use so-called tags for the completed Session:Call and Workshop:Call. These are oriented towards the challenges facing educational systems and the digital society. The tags are:
- Future:Learn (teaching in application)
- Future:Skills (literacy)
- Future:Tech (Technology and AI)
- Future:Lead (strategy)
- Future:Gov (political and legal framework)
- Future:Space (learning spaces/learning architectures)
- Future:Vision (utopias, visions for innovative learning)
- Future:Exam (examination and recognition)
Your product or project offers new perspectives to the community of the Univeristy:Future Festival? Then become part of the Showcase – our digital marketplace. In virtual booths you have the opportunity to get in touch with participants of the festival and present your concepts and products. Submissions via the Showcase:Call are possible until 16 August 2020.
The digital summer semester 2020 was literally a wake-up call for a critical examination of digital teaching, its possibilities, limits and potential. In the Creative Space, artistic perspectives on “the New Normal” and projects that have emerged in the context of the digital semester will be presented. The Creative:Call is open until 16 August 2020!
