About me

Sören Krach is a professor of social neuroscience at the Department of Psychiatry and Psychotherapy at Lübeck University. His research focuses on how humans form beliefs about themselves and others, and the role that affective states play in this process. He also studies the neural computations underlying social learning and the potential implications of dysfunctional belief formation for people diagnosed with psychiatric conditions. In addition to his core research interest, Sören serves as the speaker of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Commission at the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Psychologie (DGPs) and is a co-founder of the Open Science Initiative at Lübeck University. He is also involved in several meta-science research projects that aim to link these three fields.
