About me
Andreas Dengel is Professor for Computer Science Education at the Goethe University Frankfurt am Main. His research focuses on immersive learning with virtual reality and augmented reality, Computer Science Unplugged (computer science education without electricity) and Artificial Intelligence Education. Dengel has received various research and practice awards for his work, including being named to Germany's Forbes 30Under30 list. He is General Chair of the Immersive Learning Research Network (iLRN) conference, as well as head of the IEEE Technical Committee on Immersive Learning Environments (IEEE TC-ILE). In addition to his research and teaching, Dengel is an avid "Tricking" athlete and an advocate for mental health in academia.
