About me
Katharina Boudier is a researcher at the TU Kaiserslautern, Germany, at the department of civil engineering and chair of built environment. Her main field of research is thermal comfort and building simulation. She started her scientific career in 2015 as a PhD student at the department and in 2021 she finished her PhD dissertation with the title: Modeling the interaction between building occupants and the built environment - Potential analysis of decentralized heating and cooling systems with regard to thermal comfort and energy consumption on the basis of an adaptive building controller. She is a member of IBPSA and spent several months at universities in Brazil and Australia where she collaborated with researchers on building energy performance simulation.
