Core Theme: Insights into the significance of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for higher education.
In light of the advances and impacts of AI technologies across various areas of life – particularly within higher education – the need, or in line with the conference motto “the pressure”, to actively help shape the educational landscape of tomorrow is immediate.

Through the exchange of ideas, experiences, practical reports and initial evidence, we aimed to foster a better understanding of AI use in higher education and to highlight its future potential. This partner stage was dedicated to these urgent and highly topical questions and invited to joint discussions.

In addition to the main programme, visitors were invited to take part in workshops, meet-ups, stands, networking opportunities and much more at the U:FF partner stage AI Force:Stage Graz.

“Beautiful Land” is a virtual immigration checkpoint where visitors become applicants to a fictional state. Trapped in an interview that only moves forward (no exit, no withdrawal), they experience how “agency” collapses under pressure. The system records hesitation and posture and evaluates applicants according to criteria such as productivity, obedience and prominence, deciding on entry or rejection—turning migration into a cold stream of risk, fear and data.

“transitional Roads” is a combination of two independent games. Both are deeply rooted in the experience of discovering one’s gender identity and the pressure associated with this process. The work explores breaking conventions, the simultaneity of trauma and escapism, freedom of choice and powerlessness, endings and new beginnings.
