Professor Steve Joordens is full professor at the University of Toronto Scarborough, Director of their Advanced Learning Technologies Lab and CEO of TLK Innovations. He is a globally recognized leader in assessment and in the creation of effective educational technologies (e.g., peerScholar). His impact on higher education was recognized by his being named a 3M National Teaching Fellow, the highest award for sustained impact on higher education in Canada. Most recently, his work showing the potential of conversational AI to enhance education and beyond is accruing a lot of attention and support.
