Interactive programme

Workshops, meetups, booths, networking opportunities and much more await visitors at the Graz U:FF Partner Stage AI:Stage TU Graz.

Key Topic: Insights into the Importance of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Higher Education
Given the advancements and impacts of AI technologies on various aspects of life—particularly in the field of higher education—it is essential for experts, university members, and interested individuals to come together to explore the opportunities and challenges of AI. By exchanging ideas and early experiences, we aim to foster a deeper understanding of AI applications in higher education and highlight their potential for the future. Our goal is to present and discuss AI applications already in use at universities—whether in research, teaching, or administration—or to critically reflect on their implications. We look forward to your contribution!

Jajaja, neeneeneee – Talking About Monkeys
This installation connects Berlin and Graz, allowing visitors at both stages to communicate with each other! With a charming and inviting approach, this interaction bridges cultures and generations while raising questions about overcoming distance: What makes us feel close to others?

Shapeshifting: Emotion – Empowerment through AI
The installation Shapeshifting: Emotion examines how human stories are told and who holds the authority to interpret them. Marginalized groups, in particular, are often subjected to narratives that are constructed, instrumentalized, and politicized without their control.

This work critically engages with these mechanisms and offers an interactive approach at the intersection of humans and artificial intelligence. Through technical and conceptual engagement with discriminatory texts, such as hate speech, the installation creates a space for reflection—without unnecessarily amplifying emotional distress.

feel and imagine
feel and imagine is an invitation to experience and experiment with colors, materials, and sensory impressions. Through touch and exploration—whether by fully immersing in virtual reality or by examining smaller material samples—the installation encourages a playful engagement with foams and their tactile qualities.

A multisensory experience that inspires feeling, discovery, and imagination!
