Bárbara A. Bielitz

Über mich

Barbara A. Bielitz is an artist and educator whose work operates at the intersection of feminism, technology, and community-based practices. Her work uses technology and science fiction to address questions of feminism and posthumanism with a focus on FLINTA* communities and on the transfer of technological and artistic knowledge. She currently leads the project "Planitarische Lernraum at the Joan-Miró-Grundschule"—an alternative learning space dedicated to rethinking our relationship with the planet through transdisciplinary approaches. Barbara holds a Master of Arts in Art in Context from the Berlin University of the Arts (UdK) and a Bachelor degree in Industrial Design from the University of Chile.
