K. Ferreira-Meyers holds a PhD in French and Francophone literature – autofiction/autobiography, and 4 MA degrees (Licence en Philologie romane, MA in Linguistics – English, LLM, MIDT). Her research interests range from teacher training, ODeL, Open Schooling, teacher professional development, AI, online facilitation, digital transformation, self-directed learning, quality assurance in education to autofiction and autobiography, crime and detective fiction, African literatures in so-called European languages. She has published 100+ papers, various book chapters, 2 books and 100+ book reviews. She enjoys working collaboratively and has led project teams. She also has a strong track record in teacher development in Southern Africa and expertise in blended, distance and e-learning.
