Univ.-Prof. Dr. Karsten D. Wolf is head of the ZeMKI Lab "Media & Education" at the University of Bremen, Germany. His main research question is "How can people acquire high expertise in a deeply mediatized society? He is especially known for theoretical and empirical work on explanatory videos and tutorials, YouTube & TikTok as educational spaces, and the development of open source digital learning environments. Regarding AI in education, two current research projects focus on the creation of highly informative feedback systems to foster active generative learning scenarios in higher education.
