Dr. Jane Yau is the project coordinator of HICOF-DL, which is funded from 2021-2024 by the Hessen Ministry for Digital Strategies and Development (Germany) and is a joint project between the DIPF Leibniz Institute for Research and Information in Education, Psychology Department at Goethe University Frankfurt and studiumDigitale at Goethe University Frankfurt. She is situated at the EduTech research group at the DIPF Leibniz Institute for Research and Information in Education, where the team has expertise in Artificial Intelligence, Learning Analytics and Educational Technologies. She is interested in ways to increase student retention, improve students’ learning outcomes, satisfaction and effectiveness, in the context of online higher education during the COVID-19 pandemic.
