Virtual Campus Creation: A Multimedia Playbook

Last year, the University of Rhode Island and the Technische Universität Braunschweig began a collaboration to create shared virtual campuses, ultimately transforming how the two universities connect and engage on an international level. Using entrepreneurial tactics tailored for university environments, we developed an innovative approach enhancing the efficacy of virtual internationalization by combining cultural immersion with multimedia documentation. This presentation will illustrate our initial real-world experiences as well as our playbook, which outlines a framework for developing virtual learning spaces that promote inclusivity and global collaboration.
