Histobots: Rewriting History, One Chat at a Time
Histobots are AI chatbots that simulate historical figures, that start to appear in museums, on specialised apps, and on Social Media. While they captivate students, they often oversimplify or distort history. This talk explores the risks of these tools and makes the case for why educators must engage critically with their growing influence.
