Über mich
Mela Kocher wrote her dissertation on the aesthetics and narrativity of digital games (“Folge dem Pixelkaninchen! Ästhetik und Narrativität digitaler Spiele”, 2007). Today her playground is at the Zurich University of the Arts: There she is co-head of the e-learning unit, focusing on the study, design, and enabling of inspiring teaching environments and methods. Additionally, as deputy head of the Master program specializing in Game Design, she mentors students' projects and Master theses and lectures on serious, urban, and pervasive games. An educated outdoor guide, Mela Kocher also channels her passion into creating playful outdoor experiences.
