Stephanie Stiegel

Über mich

Stephanie Stiegel is Junior Professor of Ecology & Sustainability at the University of Flensburg. Her current work focuses on agroforestry research and developing a teaching-learning lab for interdisciplinary and transformative education for sustainable development. She teaches botany, education for sustainable development and ecological topics like restoration ecology and ecosystem management. For her PhD at the University of Hildesheim, she researched microclimatic effects on broadleaved forest trees and their interaction with herbivory. She studied biology with a focus on botany, nature conservation and tropical plant production at the Georg August University in Göttingen.
