Beate Ochsner is a Professor of Media Studies at the University of Konstanz(Germany). Since 2008, she is the Spokeswoman of the DFG research group „Media and Participation“ (mediaandparticipation.com) and PI in the subproject „Technosensory Processes of Participation and Dis/Ability”. Her research focuses on media and participation, on the interface of media and disability studies, on (digital) practices of hearing as well as on Serious games/Serious Gaming.
