Dr. Diefenbach is a Professor of Business Management. His academic credentials include a Diploma in Business Administration from ESB Reutlingen in Germany, an MBA from EGADE, Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico, and a Ph.D. from the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland. Prior to assuming the role of Professor at Hochschule Esslingen, Dr. Diefenbach worked as a strategy consultant at Bain & Company in multiple countries across Europe, Africa, Asia, and South America. He held senior roles at Festo GmbH & Co. KG, where he served as Head of Group Controlling and Head of Strategic Controlling & Risk Management, and at TeamViewer GmbH, where he was Director of Corporate Development. Currently, Dr. Diefenbach serves on the boards of various organisations and works as a management consultant.
