Generative Artificial Intelligence and Well-Being in Higher Education

This talk illustrates the need for linking approaches to generative AI with well-being and vice versa. It will outline why this new interconnection is necessary and outline the consequences for universities, especially in combining, teaching, learning, and research. Drawing on processes currently underway at the University of Cologne and the European University for Well-being, this paper will outline examples of how such an approach can both be strategized and concretely be turned into tangible measures and which results have already been achieved.
