Fostering Future Skills: Personality Meets Education
Imagine… imagination exercises in higher education? In our workshop, you will experience the transformative power of imagination exercises firsthand. We will show how personal development is the key to fostering future skills and present our concept for integrating this approach into our academic program, using tools such as Ikigai, gamification, and creativity methods. In the interactive part of the workshop, we will share tips and exchange ideas on additional tools and their applications, so that as many students as possible, regardless of their field of study, can acquire future-relevant skills.

Methode: Our workshop combines an imagination exercise with interactive experience exchange to create a dynamic and engaging learning environment. Participants will begin with a guided imagination exercise to explore their values and long-term goals, experiencing the transformative power of visualization firsthand. This will be followed by group work where participants collaborate to discuss tools and approaches for integrating personal development and future skills into higher education. A moderated session will facilitate the exchange of experiences and best practices, ensuring active interaction among all attendees and the facilitators. This hands-on approach enables participants to leave with practical insights and strategies for their own teaching environments.
