Neurodiversity at German universities

Neurodiversity is a new concept that German universities should be more aware of. In this session, I will introduce some of the struggles my initiative has found here in Germany. We will start with the fundamentals of the theory. Later, participants will be asked to reflect on the treatment of dyslexic, autistic and ADHDers and more at German universities and the education system. There will be an emphasis on understanding why many students believe university can never work for them.

The emphasis of the talk will be on how neurodivergent students access their strengths in a more accommodating system
