Professor Ratkovic is the Chair of Social Data Science at the University of Mannheim. He spent a decade teaching in Princeton’s Department of Politics and at the Center for Statistics and Machine Learning. His research has appeared in top journals including American Political Science Review, Journal of Politics, Journal of the American Statistical Association, and Journal of the Royal Statistical Society (Series B). He is the inaugural recipient of the Thomas Ten Have Memorial Award, Gosnell Prize for Excellence in Political Methodology, and Stanley Kelley, Jr. Award for Excellence in Teaching. His mentees have secured positions at Harvard, University of Michigan, and firms including Google, Facebook, and Two Sigma.
