Said is an MIT Sloan School of Management research affiliate and director at the MIT Murray Lab for Deep Tech and Geopolitics in Cambridge, MA. His research explores innovation and entrepreneurship, security policy, and ecosystem development. In Berlin, he serves as a strategy manager for the German Stifterverband.
Previously, Said advised the Parliamentary State Secretary at the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research, and the State Minister for Economic Affairs of North Rhine-Westphalia. His academic background spans international business, technology policy, sociology, politics, and economics. He studied in Cambridge, MA; St Andrews; Munich; Berkeley; Buckingham; Vienna; and Friedrichshafen, where he also served as Vice President for Student Affairs at Zeppelin University.
