Studied English and American literature and culture as well as business studies at the University of Mannheim, Germany and at NUI Galway, Ireland. Worked as a post-doctoral researcher and lecturer in the humanities at the University of Kassel, Germany, as well as a project manager for teaching and curriculum development. Currently head of the teaching development unit at the University of Hohenheim, Germany.
