from non-formal to formal recognition: obtaining verified micro-credentials for corporate learning

The borders between organisational learning and recognition by accredited education organizations are starting to blur. Whilst the recognition happened on the example of entering an MBA program more on an individual level, the International Council on Badges [ICoBC] has implemented a process that validates non-formal learning activities and allows formal recognition. This process has been successfully piloted with LinkedIn on the example of LinkedIn Learning and a range of university partners.
