The in-person event in Essen was organised by ORCA.nrw<\/a> in collaboration with the ORCA.nrw Legal Information Centre, the higher education teaching networks hdw nrw and Hochschuldidaktik NRW, the LMS competence centres Moodle.nrw and ILIAS.nrw, KI:edu.nrw, the Digital Accessibility Competence Centre.nrw, and the digiLL university network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Keynotes<\/a> Silke Kirberg<\/strong> Serap Biligin<\/strong> Carsten Bender<\/strong> In addition to the stage programme of the NRW:Stage, there was a wide range of opportunities throughout the day to connect with people and institutions involved in digital teaching and learning in North Rhine\u2011Westphalia. Numerous workshops invited participants to find inspiration. Constitutional law was brought to life through a creative postcard campaign by Prof. Dr. iur. Cornelia Fischer. In addition, the KlimaOER project offered a hands-on experience of climate change with its Climate Case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The community meeting of the Centre of Competence for Digital Accessibility.nrw was embedded in the day\u2019s supporting programme on the U:FF NRW:Stage in Essen and took place in the morning. Four years of the Centre of Competence for Digital Accessibility.nrw also marked four years of networking among universities in North Rhine\u2011Westphalia to promote greater accessibility in teaching and learning. Within three networks, stakeholders regularly exchanged good practices and explored synergies in the areas of accessible websites, digital applications in teaching and learning, and the use of assistive technologies. At the University:Future Festival, these networks met in person for the first time. The Centre of Competence organised an exchange and workshop programme that was also open to interested visitors to the NRW:Stage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In the afternoon, we invited participants to attend the Teaching Clinic: from 2:15 p.m. onwards, they could direct their questions related to teaching to experts from KI:edu.nrw, Moodle.nrw, ILIAS.nrw, the hdw nrw network, the Network for Higher Education Didactics NRW, the Centre of Competence for Digital Accessibility.nrw, and the digiLL university consortium. There was an opportunity to book time slots in advance of the event. In addition, the afternoon programme offered space for exchange and networking in the Wintergarten, our community space with a rooftop terrace.<\/p>\n\n\n\n To ensure that all guests had barrier-free access to the presentation materials, we made the slides available in advance via the following link<\/a>.
