Throughout the day, attendees enjoyed a relaxed exchange over drinks and snacks, courtesy of the Austrian Federal Ministry for Women, Science and Research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Location:<\/strong> Ground floor of the BMT building, Stremayrgasse 16, 8010 Graz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How to get there:<\/strong> From Graz Main Station or the Jakominiplatz transport hub, take tram line 6 in the direction of &#8220;St. Peter Schulzentrum&#8221; and get off at the &#8220;Neue Technik&#8221; stop. By exchanging ideas and early experiences, we aimed to foster a deeper understanding of AI applications in higher education and highlight their potential for the future. Our goal was to present and discuss AI applications already in use at universities\u2014whether in research, teaching, or administration\u2014or to critically reflect on their implications. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Jajaja, neeneeneee \u2013 Talking About Monkeys<\/strong><br>A friendly monkey, made from a sock, observes us attentively, followed our gestures and communicates with a monkey counterpart on the monitor: the installation \u201cJajaja, neeneeneee &#8211; \u00fcber Affen reden\u201d createed a spontaneous, heart-warming connection between humans and stuffed monkeys. Charmingly inviting, this interaction worked across cultures and generations and at the same time poses questions about overcoming distance: what makes us feel closeness?<br>&#8211; Anne Brannys<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Shapeshifting: Emotion \u2013 Empowerment through AI<\/strong><br>What stories are told about us and how do we gain the power to interpret them? The installation \u201cShapeshifting: Emotion\u201d addressed these questions and offers interactive approaches in the field of tension between humans and artificial intelligence.
