Dr. Julia Freudenberg has been the CEO of Hacker School gGmbH in Hamburg since 2017. After working in the private sector, studying and completing her doctorate, she took over the management of the non-profit organization, whose vision is to get young people excited about programming, teach them 21st century skills and show them opportunities in the IT world of work. The Hacker School focuses on offering courses at schools and thus also empowering girls and socio-economically disadvantaged young people. Sustainable cooperation with companies and universities is the key to success. Dr. Sven Sch\u00fctt has been with IU since 2010 and has developed it into Germany\u2019s largest university and a leading EdTech company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Previously, he was Managing Director of the Hertie School and led the reform of Germany\u2019s labor market services. He worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Co and earned his PhD in 2001 at the Max Planck Institute in Neurobiology, Learning, and Data Science.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Christoph Biemann, 72 years old, is the father of four children and the proud grandfather of nine grandchildren. He has shaped \u201cDie Sendung mit der Maus\u201d for over 50 years – mostly behind the camera, but also repeatedly in front of it. With his creative explanations and his iconic green sweater, he has inspired generations of viewers. His contribution to imparting knowledge to children is exceptionally valuable and continues to shape the educational landscape to this day. He is also committed to comprehensible and exciting science communication away from the mouse.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Lisa Niendorf<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Lisa Niendorf is an educational researcher and works as a \u201cteacher for special tasks\u201d at Humboldt-Universit\u00e4t zu Berlin. There she leads seminars on the compulsory internship in teacher training. In addition to her teaching activities, she is also active online as \u201cFrauForschung\u201d. On Instagram and TikTok, she shares insights into her everyday life as a queer lecturer and researcher, communicates key findings from educational research and highlights challenges in teacher training. She is particularly committed to breaking down the taboos surrounding mental health in academia and making the university an appreciative, queer-friendly place.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Ralf Krauter, born in 1972 in Esslingen am Neckar, studied physics in Stuttgart, Freiburg and Brighton and has been working as a reporter, editor and presenter for the daily Deutschlandfunk knowledge magazine \u201cForschung aktuell\u201d for 25 years. He has received numerous awards for the quality of his journalistic work, including the Georg von Holtzbrinck Prize for Science Journalism. Ralf Krauter has also been the podcast host of the weekly Dlf AI podcast \u201cKI verstehen\u201d since July 2023. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
