The Call for Participation of the University:Future Festival 2025 \/imagine ran from November 11 to February 03, 2025 at 11:59 pm. We were looking for creative submissions of all kinds<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to presentations and workshops, we intend to bring the festival themes to life in a different, surprising way in 2025! U:FF offers a space for discussion and a creative approach to the \/imagine motto that goes beyond traditional stage and workshop formats. For the festival stages in Berlin, Braunschweig, Graz, Nuremberg and Zurich, we are looking for innovative, surprising and creative offers to touch and try out. We have allocated a particularly large amount of space at the main stage in Berlin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The motto: \/imagine<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The festival motto for 2025 is \/imagine<\/em>. It is an invitation to everyone to think fundamentally, creatively, critically and, above all, for themselves in these politically and socially difficult times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The mottoaddresses all levels of university development: \/imagine<\/em> agile and sustainable university structures! \/imagine<\/em> innovative teaching at all universities! \/imagine<\/em> digitally sovereign and modernly equipped institutions! \/imagine<\/em> a smart and sustainable use of AI in university teaching<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With a known image AI, \/imagine<\/em> starts the command to create a new image. By referencing the command line and artificial intelligence, we also place current technical issues at the centre of the festival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who we are looking for<\/strong> – target groups of the call<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We are looking for all people who want to show inspiring things to touch and try out. From the robot engineer to the VR world builder, from the visual artist to the activist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Formats <\/strong>– What we are looking for<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We are looking for innovative, surprising and creative hands-on and try-out offers that make our visitors laugh and marvel and bring the digital transformation of higher education to life. Robots, dancing paintings, hololenses, talking carpets or calculating horses – we are looking forward to your works and ideas!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Realisation<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Accepted submissions will be realised on site in the Experience:Space at the Berlin Mainstage or our partner stages in Braunschweig, Graz, Nuremberg or Zurich. In principle, anything that deals with the festival themes and is technically and\/or logistically feasible is conceivable. We provide the necessary space, electricity and internet for the realisation. We are always available to answer questions about formats and feasibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Procedure of the call<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Call for Arts & Interaction of the University:Future Festival 2025 runs until 03 February 2025. After the submission deadline, your proposal will be reviewed by members of the organisation team and checked for feasibility. We will then inform you by mid-February whether your submission has been selected for Berlin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
