The University:Future Festival was digital first<\/strong> – but aditionally there were three physical stages in Berlin<\/a>, Bochum<\/a><\/strong> and Heilbronn<\/a><\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

IMPORTANT:<\/strong> The full program with all its stages could only be experienced digitally in its complete extent. If you were attending the University:Future Festival primarily out of interest in the content, digital participation was better<\/strong>. Only here you could experience the entire programme, only here you could participate in terms of its content.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, those interested had the opportunity to meet other community members on site in Berlin, Bochum or Heilbronn. There you could exchange ideas in person.\u00a0You can find impressions and highlights of the stages in\u00a0our gallery<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both online and in-person tickets were free<\/strong>. The tickets for a presence participation at one of the physical stages in Berlin, Bochum and Heilbronn were limited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mainstage Berlin (April 26 & 27)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Mainstage in Berlin opened its doors on April 26 and 27. At the KINDL – Center for Contemporary Art, participants could experience on the Mainstage live keynotes on all tracks of the programme<\/strong>. In the Community:Space, you could engage in personal discussions with speakers and festival attendees. The Experience:Space welcomed you to hands-on experiences and a varied supporting programme. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Imagine a good caf\u00e9 with an adjoining lecture room (our Mainstage) and some exciting exhibitions. We saw the on-site attendance as a place for personal exchange and socializing<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

ORCA.nrw<\/a>-Stage in Bochum (April 27)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The partner-stage in Bochum was organized by ORCA.nrw and was open for visitors on April 27 between 9:30 and 17:30. The content of the stage focussed on the track “Openness & Vision”<\/strong> and was moderated by PD Dr. Markus Deimann (Managing Director of ORCA.nrw). On site you found exciting keynotes and the possibility to network. After the day’s programme, participants were invited to a get-together and had the opportunity to experience VR live. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

AI-Campus<\/a>-Stage in Heilbronn (April 26 & 27)<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

At the partner-stage in Heilbronn, the AI Campus invited you to an exchange on the topic AI<\/strong>. In addition to exciting keynotes, there was the opportunity to experience interactive AI Explorables on site. On 26 April, from 5:30 p.m., there was a drink at the Caf\u00e9 of the Maschinenfabrik, which was musically accompanied by KI musician Dr. Tristan Behrens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
